yes, andrew i quite agree, i have no idea about the nuts and bolts of current legislation. but i dont think households should be evicted upon the breadwinner's death. i think inheritance tax mainly exists to eliminate the possibility of vast sums of wealth being passed down to grandchildren - giving them an unfair advantage in life. rather than to cripple families.
