Oops:

Wasn't clear enough. Tony Benn of course would have happily put aside his 
peerage for ever. It's just the act allowed for later return to the HoL. 
People are still arguing whether that was intended or not, but Home was 
booted back across, for instance. It'll be interesting to see whether 
Hilary Benn takes a gong one day.

Have to be careful with these things...
