RE: "Doing" Epistemology?

I wasn’t looking for anything in depth really, just initial or intuitive reactions about what it is to do epistemology. I was expecting answers like "to find out the nature of knowledge" or something like that.

Okay, but why do you ask this question with specific respect to
epistemology? What is doing logic...psychology...physics...chemistry (etc)?
Someone might reduce the theoretical aspect of most subjects to 'talk about
talk'. In fact, as i'm sure some are more aware than me, some (odd)
philosophy of language finds that alot of natural language is talk about
talk. Precisely what is it specifically about epistemology that you want to
discuss?
