Conceptually both ethical egoism and perfect altruism are provable or possible, but questions relating to human nature cannot be dealt with on a purely conceptual level, that's a typical analytic misinterpretation. You want me to defeat the possibility that perfect altruism exists on its own grounds but it can't, it is a possibility. I'm undermining or precluding that perfect altruism is a possibility by appeal to our nature, which is egoistic. A distinction must be made between the possibility of our concepts which is limitless and the possibilities which are available to us in virtue of our nature.
If you analyse our psychological construction and our behaviour then you realise it's naive and implausible to still pressupose that its possible to prove that perfect altruism is possible.
