Philosophers and friends are relatives. It follows then that what is
appropriate for the former is appropriate for the latter.
The problem here is not whether you tell your grieving friend about "your
solution of the problem of evil" but rather when is the appropriate time and
in what manner you convey your thoughts to him/her on the subject.
