Ron,

But if that's right then we all do philosophy in most parts of our lives.
Informally,
There is something P which we can use in our everyday lives.
There is something P which we do use in our everyday lives.
There is something Q that is what we learn when we learn to do philosophy.
P is not Q because if P is Q and we already can do P then we can already 
do Q and therefore there is no need to learn it.
