Postgraduate Conference Places

Interested in postgrad?

BUPS has a fantastic opportunity for anyone considering postgraduate 
study or wanting to get involved in philosophy at a more advanced 
level.

The National Postgraduate Analytic Philosophy Conference is the 
biggest UK postgrad event of the year. It sets the standard 
nationally. This year it is running from Friday 30th June ? Sunday 
2nd July at the University of Warwick with the following list of 
papers:

But why is this on our undergrad list? Simple ? because a few 
undergraduates are allowed to attend through BUPS. Places are 
extremely limited ? we?ve only got four this year!

In other words, there are very few of the BUPS undergrad places 
available, and they will go very quickly! If you?d like to go, please 
let us know as soon as possible.

As you can imagine, the papers at this postgrad conference will be a 
bit tougher than those we are used to at undergrad level. So this is 
really an event that would most benefit second years or above.

The NPAPA have kindly subsidised our places to the same level as the 
postgrads. The costs are:

Conference + accommodation + meals = 45 UKP

If you are interested:

- Check the site above to see what?s on offer
- Email stephenson@bups.org saying you?d like to go.

We will then:

- Confirm your place via email
- Attach an undergraduate registration form
- Wait a week for your completed form

We expect to run out of places quickly. If you miss out we will offer 
you a place on our waiting list in case anyone fails to return their 
form or any more places can be made available.
