You have one week left to register for the BUPS Skills Conference
2006, until midnight on Thursday March 22nd.
If you intend on registering by post, send your cheques no later than
Tuesday, to ensure they arrive on time.

The full programme of the conference should be available on the
webpage by monday, and will be sent out by BUPS-L and Philos-L, but
we can already reveal the following elements now...

BUPS Skills Conference (Friday 30th March – Sunday 1st April) will
feature:

Keynote paper: ‘Fate’, by Professor Bob Hale (Sheffield)

Workshop: ‘From research to writing: Essay methodology’
Skills talk: ‘Postgraduate application: here and across the pond’
Skills talk: ‘Levels of engagement: finding the best ways to read
philosophy’, by Dr David Mossley (PRS Subject Centre, Higher
Education Academy)
A Colloquium (title to be confirmed)
and
Nine first-class papers by fellow undergraduates
Plus two evenings of fun socialisation, (re)discovering Durham, and
the infamous philosophy pub quiz!
