Notice of BUPS Annual Conference 2008 Registration Extension
The British Undergraduate Philosophy Society would like to remind you that the Annual Conference 2008 is being held from Friday 19th – Sunday 21st of September in St Catharine’s College, University of Cambridge.Registration for the conference has been extended by one week to allow those who haven’t registered yet to do so and will now close on Monday September 8th. The conference programme will be available in the week before registration closes.
Our keynote speaker will be Professor Bill Brewer, widely known for his work on the philosophy of mind and perception.
You will have the opportunity to hear and discuss a cross section of undergraduate papers on a variety of topics, selected for their academic excellence and clarity by professional philosophers. The conference is non-profit-making: the cost of registration for the conference and two night’s accommodation with breakfast is 60 UKP. The cost of registration for the conference without accommodation is 20 UKP. An extra night’s bed and breakfast can be purchased for Thursday 18th at the cost of 30 UKP.
