The Subject Centre for Philosophical and Religious Studies is running its annual student essay competition, sponsored by Toshiba. To enter, just write an essay, paper, dialogue or discussion piece of around 1,000 words, telling us the qualities you think a good lecturer in philosophy should have. As well as the cash prize, you could be published on our website, win an expenses-paid trip to the Higher Education Academy Conference, and be entered into a national competition to win a Toshiba laptop.
