BUPS Mailing Lists

BUPS runs two mailing lists of interest to undergraduate philosophers. The menu to the right allows you to join the lists, look through past messages, or stop our emails being sent to you.

BUPS-L is our announcements list - subscribe to it and you will receive notices on upcoming undergraduate philosophy events and conferences direct to your inbox. It is a moderated list, so is kept clean of all non-announcement information. This makes it a low-traffic list that will keep you informed without cluttering up your email.

BUPS-DIS is our discussion list - if you subscribe you will receive, and be able to participate in, our online philosophy discussions via email. This is an unmoderated list so that people can air their opinions without interference or needing our approval. We offer no guarantees on the volume of traffic this list will generate, as it is open to anyone who wants to talk.

You can run your subscription to these lists separately, for example just subscribing to BUPS-L, or having BUPS-L delivered to your main inbox and BUPS-DIS delivered to another account that you check only when you have time to chat.

We have strong anti-spam measures in place, your email address cannot be seen at all if you do not post, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
